(Minor) Changes to Facebook Live

For those of us who rely on Facebook Live to stay connected to worship when we’re not able to attend in person, there is a change coming up that you ought to know about.

Effective this past week, Facebook has announced that Live videos will only be retained on Facebook for 30 days, after which they will be deleted.

This means that it should still be possible to watch worship services that are up to 30 days old on Facebook Live, but after that they will not be available. Unfortunately, this will also apply to live streams of weddings and funerals.

Here in the office we are downloading all services and storing them for the future, so if there is any reason you need to see an older service, we will still have them. However, you will not be able to call them up on our Facebook page soon. If you have any questions, please be in touch with Pastor Ted.
